Breast Feeding News

As part of my membership to the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) I get daily e-mails with links to pediatric health issues in the news. I thought it might be worthwhile to repost some of them for any of the interested moms reading my blog. Here's a throwback to some of my early posts on breast feeding...

New Study: Breast Feeding Saves Lives

Welcome...

...to my blog! I decided to start this blog after the birth of my first daughter as a place to share my experiences as a working mom. As time goes on, you can expect to find quick and easy recipes, parenting stories, crafting ideas, and maybe even some descriptions of common childhood medical issues on these pages.

For anyone interested, the title of the blog comes from two sources. First, I imagine many of my posts will be reflections on parenthood and my nickname for my daughter is "bug." Second, my own name is from the Greek origin meaning honey bee and I've often been labeled as a "busy bee" for my hectic schedule. She's a bug, I'm a bug - it just fits!
