Day 4 - Sneak Peak - Guess Whooo's Turning 2?

Although the theme for my bug's big birthday party in June is "Cute as a Bug", we're also throwing her a small family party on her real birthday this Sunday.

I decided on the mini theme "Guess Whooo's Turning Two?" to match the new bedroom set we are using to re-decorate her room when we transition her from crib to toddler bed.

Here's a sneak peak at one of three special "owlicious" party treats I'm working on...

...to my blog! I decided to start this blog after the birth of my first daughter as a place to share my experiences as a working mom. As time goes on, you can expect to find quick and easy recipes, parenting stories, crafting ideas, and maybe even some descriptions of common childhood medical issues on these pages.

For anyone interested, the title of the blog comes from two sources. First, I imagine many of my posts will be reflections on parenthood and my nickname for my daughter is "bug." Second, my own name is from the Greek origin meaning honey bee and I've often been labeled as a "busy bee" for my hectic schedule. She's a bug, I'm a bug - it just fits!
