Confession

I can not be trusted home alone making a power point presentation with a bin full of cookies. Yes, I know it's only 9am. If they weren't meant to be breakfast, they shouldn't taste so good with a cup of coffee. Welcome to the party in my tummy cookie #2, let's hope it stops there...

Welcome...

...to my blog! I decided to start this blog after the birth of my first daughter as a place to share my experiences as a working mom. As time goes on, you can expect to find quick and easy recipes, parenting stories, crafting ideas, and maybe even some descriptions of common childhood medical issues on these pages.

For anyone interested, the title of the blog comes from two sources. First, I imagine many of my posts will be reflections on parenthood and my nickname for my daughter is "bug." Second, my own name is from the Greek origin meaning honey bee and I've often been labeled as a "busy bee" for my hectic schedule. She's a bug, I'm a bug - it just fits!
